From datamart.support at state.or.us Tue Feb 5 10:09:09 2013 From: datamart.support at state.or.us (Datamart Support) Date: Tue, 5 Feb 2013 18:09:09 +0000 Subject: [Datamart-News] Updated Invoice Description field Message-ID: <05CAF6457D77EA4287E670CB4DB166CA351E5D52@WPDASEXCL01.ad.state.or.us> Datamart users: In two weeks, on February 23, 2013, the SFMS team will migrate the programming changes to expand the Description field on several RSTARS screens. Due to this change, the Datamart team will also update and expand the "Invoice Description" field, from 30 to 40 characters, on the following Datamart tables: * All_Acct_Event * Active_Acct_Event * Arch_All_Acct_Event * YE_Active_Acct_Event After the migration is complete, if a user has an existing query that uses these tables, they will need to review and update their files. NOTE: If using Hyperion the user will need to re-sync their queries. To accomplish this task: Open the existing file in Hyperion, click on the query section, select the 'DataModel' menu, select 'Sync with Database', it will request that you log into the Datamart with an oce. Once logged in, the 'Sync with Database' process will commence. NOTE: Please forward this notice to your local IT department if your agency uses any of these tables to load into local applications as they may need to review and/or update their automated load processes. Please, let us know if you have additional questions. Normally, I do not send a message alerting users of alterations because the average change is very small; however, this update was very extensive. Over the past year, I have gathered lots of great suggestions from users on how to improve my course. I have taken these ideas and improved upon an already great product. Please, feel free to view the update manual, in pdf form, on our website. (http://cms.oregon.egov.com/DAS/EGS/FBS/Pages/datamart.aspx#Datamart_Training) I would like to thank everyone for their helpful suggestions and welcome more, in the future. Please keep up the suggestions for improvement of the Datamart, we appreciate it very much. If you have any questions, please contact Datamart support.
