Hello one and all -

As you may know, Lisa Joyce is leaving DHS after eight years of most excellent
service.

She'll start June 16 in a new position with the Oregon Department of Housing
and Community Services, where she'll continue her work in support of
disadvantaged Oregonians.

In honor of this occasion, please join us in enjoying decadent desserts,
sharing fond memories, and wishing Lisa all the best.

When: 2-5 p.m. Tuesday, June 15
(Comments and presentations begin at 2)

Where: Room 473 of the Human Services Building
                         500 Summer St. NE, Salem

Important note: A "Book of Appreciation" is being compiled to give to Lisa on
the 15th. The book will have a nice binder and will include brief messages
from various people. The messages received so far offer warm memories,
expressions of appreciation, and acknowledgment of Lisa's many gifts. But
there's room for many more!

If you would like to contribute to this book; please send an email with your
message by noon Monday to Elaine Stauffer (Elaine.m.stauffer at state.or.us),
mentioning Lisa in the subject line.

Two other important notes:
--- If you think of people who would like to attend next Tuesday's event,
please pass this message on to them.

--- If you do not work in the Human Services Building, you will need to show
identification in the lobby to obtain a visitor's badge.
