Pursuant to 15 CFR Section 923.84 (federal Coastal Zone Management Act regulations), notice is hereby given that the Oregon Department of Land Conservation & Development (DLCD) has submitted a routine program change request to the federal Office for Coastal Management (OCM). The request seeks to incorporate updates to the City of Nehalem, City of Reedsport, City of Wheeler, and Douglas County comprehensive plans and development codes into the federally-approved Oregon Coastal Management Program (OCMP).

Section 306 of the Coastal Zone Management Act, as amended, provides states with a means to keep their federally-approved coastal management programs current. For updates that do not substantially change any program areas, states update their coastal programs by submitting Routine Program Change (RPC) requests to NOAA.

Oregon's RPC requests detail changes made to state and local authorities incorporated as part of the OCMP, and identify specific enforceable policies to be used in federal consistency reviews.
