[DLCD_FederalConsistency] Coastal Project Notice for Federal Permit NWP1998-1244-4 and Federal Permit NWP2012-521-1

Good afternoon:

The Oregon Coastal Management Program within the Department of Land Conservation & Development (OCMP-DLCD), as provided in Section 307(c) of the Coastal Zone Management Act, is reviewing two federally permitted activities for consistency with the Coastal Management Program.  The Department of the Army, Corps of Engineers (Corps) has a permit under consideration that would authorize removal of fiber optic cables offshore of Bandon, Oregon. The Corps also has a permit under consideration that would replace a deteriorating wharf. For more information and the federal permit applications, please see below.
