New Program Kicks Off- Lethality Assessment Program: 

Saving Grace along with The Bend Police Department, Redmond Police
Department and The Deschutes County Sheriff's Office are joining forces
for this new program aimed at providing immediate services to domestic
violence victims. 
The agencies were trained back in January to use the Lethality
Assessment Program (LAP) protocol. The program is scheduled to start
March 14th. LAP is a risk assessment tool designed to prevent domestic
violence homicides, serious injury, and re-assault by encouraging more
victims to use shelter, counseling, and support services of domestic
violence programs. Individuals are connected by law enforcement to a
24-hour hotline to encourage victims to utilize domestic violence
program services.  

Cowboys 4 Kids on March 11th: 


The 2nd Annual Cowboys 4 Kids will be at Powell Butte Community Center
on Friday, March 11th. The event kicks off at 5:30 and includes dinner,
entertainment and silent auction. There is a grand prize raffle that
includes a trip to Cancun! Proceeds benefit Saving Grace, KIDS Center,
Big Brothers Big Sisters and SMART (Start Making A Reader Today). Both
event and raffle tickets are available at Saving Grace's Administration
Office. Event Tickets are $15 and Raffle Tickets are $10.

Adopt-A-Room Reveal:  
Thanks to a generous group of volunteers, one of the rooms at the
shelter now has a new look. A group of women brought in everything from
new sheets, to a mirror and stylish decorations to update the look of
the room for our clients. 
A special thank you to Heather Persons, Jackee Brown, Ginger Aguirre,
Jill Fincham, Suzanne McClellan, Zena Rinaldi, Susan Shuck, Merilee
Young, Holly McKinley. If you are interested in adopting a room please

Winterfest Wrap Up:  

A big thank you you to all the volunteers and staff who attended
Winterfest!

Winterfest Check Presentation with Board Members and Staff

While we are still waiting on the donation total from Lay It Out Events,
the turn out to the event was strong all weekend. With a $9,000 donation
last year, we are very optimistic about the donation this year. 

Mary's Place Wish List: 

*	Portable DVD Player

Our supervised visitation and exchange center is in need of a DVD player
for the children's area. If you would like to fufill this wish, please
stop by our Administration Office in Bend.
