This spring, ODE has been offering a grade 3 native Spanish language reading assessment for ELL students.  The test window for this assessment was scheduled to close this Friday, April 23.  However, due to increased district interest in participating in this assessment, ODE has decided to extend the test window for one week.  The Grade 3 Spanish Reading assessment will now be open through April 30, 2010.

If there is sufficient participation this spring, ODE will apply to the US Department of Education for permission to use results of this test for accountability purposes.
