The ODLC annual meeting is just 3 weeks away. At that meeting we’ll be voting in the Executive Committee for 14/15. So far, we have not had anyone yet express interest in taking on the role of Vice-Chair.

Subject: Join the ODLC Executive Committee!

The Oregon Digital Library Consortium and Library2Go couldn’t function without the work of staff from its members. If you’ve been thinking about expanding your professional skills and contributing to the Oregon library community, have we got an opportunity for you!

The ODLC Executive Committee will need some new members come July 1^st. We will be electing them at our spring meeting at OLA, but you don’t need to be at that meeting to be elected. (Stay tuned for an email from Greg Williams, ODLC Chair, about the details of that meeting.) Here are the positions:

· Vice-Chair/Chair Elect (two year term – one as Vice-chair starting July 2014, then this person would be Chair the next year, starting July 2015)

· Secretary (one year term, starting July 2014)

· Member-at-Large #1 (one year term, starting July 2014)

· Member-at-Large #2 (one year term, starting July 2014)

I will be ODLC Chair starting in July, and so I’m keen to find some other people to help out on the Exec Committee. J We’re a fun group that meets via GoToMeeting for an hour each month. If you would like more details about the positions or have any questions, please let me know and I’ll be happy to give you more information. You can find some basics in the ODLC by-laws.
