[Erate] E-rate Training

E-rate Applicants:
 
     The Oregon Department of Education is planning to hold its annual
E-rate training on Thursday, October 13th from 1 to 4PM.  The agenda for
the training includes:
 
1PM - 2PM - ABC's of the application process (for those new to E-rate)
2 PM - 3PM - Eligible services changes; program changes 
3 PM - 4PM - Understanding the rules, NPRM comments to the FCC regarding
program effectiveness, general Q & A
 
Please pass this information on to your respective E-rate coordinators
for your school or district.  There is limited seating at our site in
Salem.  These seats will be allocated on a first-come first-served
basis.   The videoconference will originate from the Salem
Teleconferencing Center in the basement of the Public Service Building
located at 255 Capitol St NE, Salem, OR.  This videoconference will also
be available via Live Streaming.  You will need to have RealPlayer 10
loaded on your computer to access the live stream.  Follow the

If any of your districts or schools would like to take part please let
me know via email no later than two (2) business days before the
videoconference date if you wish to have your site added to the list of
remote sites taking part in the session.
