 *   FY 2008 – FY 2009 Funding Status.  Wave 18 for FY 2009 and Wave 66 for FY 2008 will both be released this week.   There will be no change in Priority 2 funding in either wave.
 *   SLD Computer System Upgrade, cont.  The SLD provided still further details on the upcoming system cutover that will temporarily inactivate the forms and database functions of its Web site.
 *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  The FCC held a broadband and education workshop last week touching on the E-rate program.  Four of the eight SLD workshops scheduled for this fall are still available for registration (including the newly announced workshop in Houston).


 *   Schools and Libraries News Brief dated August 21st – Non-Recurring Services.   This week’s News Brief includes Part 1 of a discussion of non-recurring services and contracts (including Service Delivery Deadline extensions).
