 *   Funding Status.  Wave 28 for FY 2010 will be released this week.
 *   FCC Requests Comments on Consultant Information.  In response to a recent petition for clarification of consultant information required on the new versions of Form 470 and Form 471, the FCC announced it was seeking comments on the definition of a consultant and on the confidentiality of consultant information.
 *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  The FCC announced that revised versions of Form 470 and Form 471 will be available by January 11, 2011.  Three new FCC appeal decisions affirm previous decisions on late-filed Form 471s and non-recurring service delivery deadline extensions. The Internet2 K20 Initiative has sought FCC clarification on the eligibility of Internet2.  There was no SLD News Brief issued last week.
