Spring Performance Assessment Window
The CIM Spring Performance Window opens April 24th and closes May 6th
for Seniors and May 15th for all others.
Districts will begin to receive Writing and MPS materials next week and
should expect to have all materials delivered by April 19th at the
latest.

The following translated tasks and prompt slip sheets will be sent to
districts that have ordered translated tests. However, districts may
want to download and print the translated material in addition to what
they receive from OCE. 

Please find translated versions of:
*	Russian and Spanish MPS Task slip sheets - CIM
*	Russian and Spanish MPS survey question slip sheets - CIM

*	Spanish Writing Prompt Slip sheets - CIM
*	Spanish Writing "Guide to Revision" and survey question slip
sheets- CIM

Challenge Down
Districts will need to download "challenge down" prompts and tasks in
English or translated versions via EDS secure web site - these slip
sheets will only be available via the web - no paper copies of grade 3,
5 and 8 slip sheets will be mailed to districts. If for some reason you
are not able to access the secure web site to obtain these slip sheets,
please call Rebecca Niswonger for assistance, 503-378-3600, Ext. 2344.

District Return Labels
OCE is in the process of preparing district prepaid return labels for
returning materials to EDS and Garten Industries. The labels should
arrive in districts by April 21st, at the latest. As you know, the
testing window has been extended for districts that may the need the
extra time - to the end of April. If this extra time is not needed,
please send your answer sheets to EDS as soon as possible after testing
has been completed and you receive your return labels. The last date to
send the completed answer sheets to EDS is May 5th.

Test Errata Sheet
There has been some problem with the grade 4 (field test) forms. It
seems that there was a problem with test forms 4-1, 4-2 and 4-4 in the
PDF translation to the press. Some strange boxes and letters appeared in
a few of the items. Of course ODE will review the calibrations of these
field test items and report student scores accordingly. Please see
attached letter from OCE regarding these issues. 

The Reading/Literature  - Benchmark 2 page R25 form C (booklet C8)
question # 49 and #50 are missing the letter B in front of the item
responses. 
The Reading/Literature -  Benchmark 3 page R9 form B (booklet B4)
question # 17 repeats the same response for item responses A and C. This
is a field test and will not count toward the student's score.
The Mathematics Side/Side - CIM page M21 form B (booklet O-22) question
#51 in both English and Spanish have responses that are not appropriate.
This item is a field test and will not count toward the student's score.
