"The Office of Student Learning & Partnerships" honors the work of
school nurses today, National Nurse Recognition Day (May 12th). In
Oregon, school nurses give services to thousands of children with
medical problems, family complications, immunization situations, as well
as children who find attention from the nurse to be the "best medicine."
In this era of increasing budgetary restraint, school nurses, along with
all school employees, give more service with less resources, and we
commend them for their commitment to the health of Oregon's kids.
