RE:      Continuing Education Scholarships

Continuing Education Scholarships are available to District Employees
interested in working as an SLP ($10,000 each).

The Oregon Department of Education's Office of Student Learning and
Partnerships is dedicating scholarship monies through the State
Improvement Grant to support ten graduate students who are currently
employed in Oregon schools and are interested in obtaining a master's
degree in the profession and working for their school as an SLP.

Attached to this e-mail are the Request for Proposal (RFP) forms which
detail the requirements for applying for the scholarship monies. The RFP
also describes the pre-requisite requirements for entrance into the Nova
Master's program. I encourage you to consider applying for this $10,000
scholarship opportunity to 'grow your own' Speech-Language Pathologist.
