RE:      Revised October 2007 Notice of Procedural Safeguards

 

Revised versions of the EI/ECSE and 18-21 Procedural Safeguards Notice
booklets are now available on the ODE website at:

http://www.ode.state.or.us/search/results/?id=261.

 

The US Department of Education will issue final Part C (early
intervention) regulations within the next few months. At that time, ODE
will review the EI/ECSE Procedural Safeguards Notice booklets, make any
necessary changes, and revise the booklets as necessary to conform to
the new regulations. You will receive notice when this happens.

 

Translations of the booklets in Spanish, Russian, Chinese, and
Vietnamese will be posted and delivered as soon as they are complete.
Copies will continue to be available in large print and Braille upon
request.

 

We will continue to make quantity determinations based on child count
numbers and send preliminary orders to each school district.  We expect
dissemination to be complete by December 2007.  The order form will be
restored to the webpage after the final versions are complete.  

 

From this point forward, use only the October 2007 versions of these
booklets.
