[Evac-Net] Suspicious Mail or Parcels

The following is for your information and action. You may wish to pass it
along to those responsible for mail in your organization.
In response to an agency inquiry about handling suspicious mail, David Marsh
of DAS shared the statewide guidelines that are found at the web site given
below.

Furthermore, David recommends having available the guidelines and resource
aids at the mail point of entry within your building. Resource aids would
include large clear storage and smaller zip lock bags, sheet plastic, dust
masks, and rubber gloves. (David noted that at one time Capitol Mall area
mailrooms received kits from DAS Publishing & Distribution that contain
these resource aids.)
