[FIT] OGIC action items from September 2008

As a follow up to the OGIC meeting last week, I was asked by the Chair
to provide action item status from the September 2008 meeting (the last
ACTION ITEM: GPL will prep GEO on the upcoming legislative session so
everyone is on the same page when asked to speak to legislation.
STATUS: In general, there has been information sharing at the October,
November, December, and January meetings regarding proposed legislation.
ACTION ITEMs: Milt will send a link to the GEO project dashboard
document to OGIC and GPL. Milt will change the date on the GEO
dashboard report to reflect the actual reporting date. Milt will add
numbers to the items in the detailed section to connect them to the
chart. Cy will come up with an enterprise statement stating where the
GEO program is and the progress they are making.
STATUS: Milt will send a link to OGIC and GPL for the GEO dashboard
next week. Milt has changed the date on the GEO dashboard to reflect
actual reporting date. Milt has made the connection between the
dashboard and the details section. Cy has not completed the enterprise
statement regarding GEO's status.
ACTION ITEM: PAC and GPL will work with the SDC staff to figure out the
best approach for framework consolidation.
STATUS: No progress to date.
ACTION ITEM: Cy will make changes to the Data Sharing Partnership
brochure and bring it back to OGIC for approval.
STATUS: Brochure is on hold until cadastral and transportation data
sharing have made more progress.
ACTION ITEM: GEO will have to go to the E-board for approval to apply
for federal CAP Grant funds. GEO will apply for two CAP grants.
STATUS: GEO received legislative approval to apply for CAP grants and
subsequently was awarded one of the two grants for which it applied, in
the amount of $47,000.
