I have continued to follow the progress of that proposal and the research being done by many on potential GPS interference, with the help of several folks from OGIC's technical committee, GPL. The FCC has received many letters about this issue and I didn't think it was necessary to send a letter from OGIC. However, I was involved in drafting and sending a letter from the Coalition of Geospatial Organizations yesterday. That letter is posted here. http://cogo.pro/News.html. I made those revisions using Track Changes, so you should be able to see them in the posted document. The process articulated at OGIC was that I would post this document for a two week review, revise it accordingly, post again for one final review, then begin the signature gathering process.
