[FIT] Draft Oregon Soils Data Standard available for review

For the past several months the Soils workgroup of the Geoscience FIT has been working on an amended document (and accompanying statewide dataset) describing the Oregon Soils Data Standard.  A draft of this standard is now available for wider review by the Oregon framework community at http://www.oregon.gov/DAS/CIO/GEO/fit/geoscience/docs/Soils_Layer_Distribution_Draft-20150305a.docx

The dataset will be made available on the Oregon Spatial Data Library soon.

The draft soils data standard references the Oregon site specific soil mapping standard document, which is referenced below:

The draft Oregon Soils Data Standard will be open for review until May 29, 2015. Comments on the draft should be directed to:
