ArcGIS Instructor, New Urban Research, Inc.
Seeking an instructor to teach a GIS Workshop using ArcGIS 9.1. Instructor required to teach every week in various cities. Content of the workshop is Mapping Your Community: Into to GIS and Community Analysis. Workshop participants are non-profit and public agency staff. The right person for this position knows ArcGIS 9.1 inside and out and has considerable experience conducting and mapping social research. Applicant must also enjoy teaching and be a good public speaker.
New Urban Research, Inc. is a small, professional social research company located in Portland, Oregon.

Requirements:
Must have extensive experience with ArcGIS 9.1 ($5,000 bonus for ESRI certified trainers)
Must have experience with community analysis
Must have strong quantitative analytical skills
Must be proficient with Excel, Access (experience with spss and sas a plus)
Must be a strong public speaker
Required to travel up to four days a week, every week
Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 (depending on experience), full health benefits, 4 weeks vacation
