Hi Rob,

I don't know how often I will be able to attend meetings since I am working
at the 2010 Census office in Eugene, but keep me on the list.  At least I
have a job for a couple of years!  All the geography people are up in the
Seattle area, but I will try to sneak in some GIS whenever I can.  For the
first time in a decennial census, hoards of workers will go to the field
with GPS-equipped handhelds to verify addresses.  It will be my
responsibility to respond to all the questions and problems reported from
the field AND to make sure that as many handhelds come back as go out!  I'm
not worried about being bored.

Have a super holiday, and I hope to see you at some event soon.
