Job Posting: GIS Framework Coordinator in Idaho
The Idaho Geospatial Office has posted a job opening for a GIS Framework Coordinator<http://labor.idaho.gov/DHR/ATS/StateJobs/jobannouncement.aspx?announcement_no=NONCLS023078>. This is a non-classified position in the Office of the Chief Information Officer (Department of Administration), in Boise.

 Idaho GIO Gail Ewart notes that this is an exciting opportunity that will shape and facilitate Framework development and stewardship in Idaho:
If you work well with people in every stakeholder group, if your technical skills and educational background are sound, and if you think big picture but can also successfully execute, you could be the first Framework Coordinator for Idaho's Spatial Data Infrastructure.
It is a limited duration (two-year) appointment with the possibility of three additional years. The job posting is open through April 18, 2010.
