GIS Services Supervisor - Lane County Public Works

Transportation Planning & Traffic Division / GIS Section.

ideally situated between the Pacific Ocean and the Cascade Mountains;
and one that provides a variety of recreational and cultural activities.


 

Lane County Public Works seeks a highly skilled professional to
supervise its award-winning GIS program in support of
transportation-based projects and GIS service delivery.  This position
represents the County within a regional, multi-agency GIS system; acts
as a liaison to various groups, clients & committees; and identifies
opportunities and crafts strategies to meet an ever evolving need for
GIS services.  This position also translates broad GIS goals into
specific, technical solutions.  Strong skills in Cadastral &
Parcel-Based GIS; Linear Referencing Systems; Mobile GIS Applications,
GeoDataBase Technology, etc., are important, as is a strong working
knowledge of ESRI geodatabase & ArcGIS desktop.  $54,205 - $81,328/year.
