Southern Oregon University - Assistant Professor/Environmental Studies   
 
This is a one year sabbatical replacement position. The visiting Assistant Professor level position in the Department of Environmental Studies will teach courses in geospatial technologies (cartography, GIS, remote sensing, and GPS) and environmental data analysis, and may be called upon to help in delivery of general education coursework. There will likely be room in the curriculum to teach 1-3 courses in her/his specialty area.  Summer teaching may be negotiated separately and on an as needed basis. Ph.D. or ABD required in Environmental Studies or related field and proven teaching ability and demonstrable research potential are essential.
