The Central Coast GIS Users Group (http://www.orurisa.org/ccgisug) is pleased to announce the details of the 2011 Oregon Coastal LiDAR Meeting taking place from 9am to 4:30 pm on May 11, 2011 in Newport, Oregon.  The goals of this meeting are to provide an overview of various LiDAR data collection, processing, and storage methods and to focus on coastal applications of LiDAR modeling.  Scheduled presenters include:  Ian Madin (DOGAMI), John Sherrard (ESRI), Neal Myers (CLPUD), Doug Smith (David C. Smith & Associates), Demetrios Gatziolis (USFS), Russ Faux (Watershed Sciences), Randy Dana (OCMP), and John Bauer (Wetlands Conservancy).
