GIS Positions

 

GeoSolve Inc. is a growing company that provides specialized GIS and

database services for E9-1-1, Emergency Management and Infrastructure.
We

are currently recruiting for the following regular full-time positions:

 

GIS Manager - This position represents management in independently
directing

and implementing overall company GIS activities, goals and objectives
for

specific projects. This position defines project requirements, manages
project

staff, communicates directly and effectively with clients, directs and
participates

in the accomplishment of project deliverables, and manages the project
scope

and resources.

Requires: A minimum of 2 years of experience in GIS project management,

including managing technical and administrative staff; skilled in ESRI
software;

strong written and oral communication skills, and a BS in GIS, Computer
Science

or related field is required. Experience with implementing web-based GIS
and

ArcSDE experience is desired.

 

GIS Specialist II - Provides advanced technical GIS skills to the
company,

clients, management, and other technical staff. Applies GIS technology
to

produce and develop GIS applications and databases; concentrates on
complex

problems requiring specialization; applies multiple programming
languages;

trains others; and develops productivity enhancing techniques.

Requires: BS in GIS, Computer Science or related field; minimum 2 years

demonstrated proficiency with ArcGIS, geometric networks, and related
software

such as ArcSDE and ArcGIS Server. Skilled at programming in more than
one

advanced programming language for GIS. Desirable: experience in
geometric

network development and maintenance for infrastructure, especially
electrical

distribution systems.

 

GIS Technician I - Develops, maintains and coordinates GIS systems in
the

office and remotely with clients.

Requires: a good working knowledge of ESRI software products; a minimum
of

one year of hands-on experience working with ArcGIS.

 

All Positions:
