Addressing Summit 

 

Note: You are receiving this email because we are hoping to reach any
member of Oregon Local Government who uses or assigns addresses as part
of their daily business process. We want to reach any interested
department within your jurisdiction, including but not limited to
Planning, Public Works, Emergency Response, GIS, or anyone else
interested in the addressing process.  If you feel you've received this
notification in error, or if you know of someone who deals with
addressing issues who may not have received this email, please forward
this to them.  Thank you!

 

(Four meetings to choose from, in various locations around the state;
please feel free to attend one or more to meet with other addressing
professionals)  

 As previously discussed in our individual meetings, this is your chance
to find out the latest on the Statewide Address Point Repository
project, and to meet with other professionals responsible for addressing
around Oregon.  Don't miss this opportunity to meet and network with
Addressing Authorities, GIS professionals, and Emergency Response
Professionals from the region, and elsewhere in the state.  

Find out who is doing what, and how. We will solicit feedback on a
solidified plan of action for the Statewide Address Point Repository,
discuss problems and concerns, and share successful 'master address
file' strategies.

Four locations around the state: We will be holding meetings in
Portland, Pendleton, Bend, and Medford.  You are welcome to attend as
many as you wish to meet with professionals who are also dealing with
the issues involved in Addressing, and to learn how other jurisdictions
are handling the same addressing issues you deal with every day. Please
RSVP with the location you will be attending so that we can get an
accurate count.

Venues:         Monday, April 23rd from 10 am to 2 pm, Community Justice

                        Monday, April 30th from 10 am to 2 pm, Metro
Office Council Chambers, 600 NE Grand Ave., Portland

                   Thursday, May 3rd from 10 am to 2 pm, Hollinshead
Barn, 1235 NE Jones Rd, Bend

                   Tuesday, May 8th from 10 am to 2 pm, Justice Center
Media Room, 4700 NW Pioneer Place, Pendleton

*Accomodation*: Lunch will be provided at each location.
