Lidar (light detection and ranging) technology allows for amazingly detailed and accurate mapping of the earth's surface. These Lidar Data Quadrangle (LDQ) series publications require specialty software to view and use, but you can view imagery of LDQ data online using the DOGAMI Lidar Data Viewer.
