Hello everyone,

Unfortunately our key presenter, Jeff Jackson, is unable to make it to our meeting due to a cancelled flight into Portland (Jeff and Euan were coming to Portland for other business), and will have to postpone the presentation.

I do not have anything else ready for tomorrow, so I will be cancelling the meeting for September.

October is full of conferences, so we will skip October. See the GEO Calendar for these events.

Of particular interest to our group is the ESRI Dev Meetup in Portland on Oct 2, from 5:30pm to whenever.


Early November - Date/Time TBA - Topic - Web Map Design
Two parts:
A. I'm excited to announce that  Dr. Helen Jenny from OSU, College of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences has agreed to give us a presentation on Web Map Design.
B. Between now and then, I would like for us to review some of the Web Map Applications out there. During our meeting, we will highlight the applications with qualities to inspire to.   This second part will be open to discussions of lessons learn, examples, and positive encouragement.

I'll be sending out an email soon to prepare for this next meeting.

Big Kudo's to ESRI for better printing options in ArcServer 10.1.  Yeah!
