Ben,

Tribal boundaries are provided by the US Census Bureau.  The data you're looking for is called AIANNH Areas (American Indian, Alaskan Native, Native Hawaiian).

USCB Download site:  http://www.census.gov/geo/maps-data/data/tiger.html

Here's a direct link to the data you're looking for (in SHP):  ftp://ftp2.census.gov/geo/tiger/TIGER2013/AIANNH/

If you want FGDB or a different census year, you can use the top link to dig down.

Let me know if you have any issues.

Subject: [gis_info] Tribal boundaries GIS data layer

Greetings,We have a request to display regional tribal boundaries on a map. This doesn't appear to be in any of the usual "GIS data warehouse" locations for local data. Does anyone have any sources for this type of data, whether in shapefile of feature class?

Thank you for your time!

Cheers
-Ben
