Also remember that when you use the new Geocoding service it takes ArcGIS
Online credits to batch geocode. This means you will need to have an ArcGIS
Online subscription and be signed it to batch geocode. Each geocoded address
will use service credits. It is about 40 credits per 1,000 geocodes.

With each ArcGIS Desktop license you have under current maintenance with
Esri, you get one named user and 100 credits.

Subject: [gis_info] Notice - Esri Geocoding Service Retired ... New Service
Address

Several people have contacted me with questions about an Esri geocoding
service they have been using in web applications which is no longer working.

Anything with the base URL of
http://tasks.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/Locators has been retired
by Esri.

Instructions for the new geocoding service can be found here:

Geocoding_Service/02r300000009000000/
