Join the PNAMP Coordination Team!

The Pacific Northwest Aquatic Monitoring Partnership (PNAMP) Coordination Team has a vacancy and the U.S. Geological Survey is recruiting a part-time biologist (GS 401-7; FPL9) to fill the position.

PNAMP provides a forum to enhance the capacity of partners to collaborate to achieve more effective, efficient monitoring programs, including coordination of data collection efforts and sharing of results.

PNAMP focuses on:

  *   Communication & Coordination
  *   Sustaining Collaboration
  *   Improving Data Access
The Coordination Team supports PNAMP partners’ participation in work groups, workshops, specific tasks and projects. See a list of current PNAMP projects here: http://www.pnamp.org/projects<http://pnamp.us2.list-manage.com/track/click?u=0aef9f70f8ff026a972d0c81d&id=81325ce766&e=4e4e6ac9fc>.

MAJOR DUTIES:

  *   Support PNAMP efforts to integrate resource monitoring programs of state, federal, tribal, local, and private organizations in the Pacific Northwest by providing expertise with respect to establishing design, methods and protocols for monitoring programs.
  *   Assist with managing content at MonitoringResources.org.
  *   Assist with workshop planning; develops products and presentations using specialized software.
  *   Create and edit fact sheets and project briefings which synthesize scientific scope, methods, results, and management implications of studies for both technical and non-technical PNAMP audiences.
  *   Serves as primary resource for PNAMP partners regarding metadata.
