About
The 20th Framework Forum will include presentations about ongoing Framework projects and improvements to the Framework funding program, updates about policy and data development activities at the state and national levels, and a panel-led discussion to outline how to put on live, interactive events that bring data users/consumers and data providers together. We will also hear from Arthur Rodriguez about how Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife is using geospatial framework and other data to inform conservation planning in the state and beyond. The agenda can be found here.
The Oregon GIS Framework is the geospatial data backbone for Oregon. It is composed of key data elements that have been identified by a wide network of partners, participants, and stakeholders from across the entire Oregon GIS community as fundamental for meeting their business, research, and other basic functions. The purpose of the program is to facilitate the delivery of critical services to citizens and maximize public investment in transforming data into useable information.
