Sorry about the late reply.  I'm still digging out from under my email pile.

We haven't installed and tested Desktop 10.5x yet.  It should work with SDE-at least that's the way that Esri designed it since 10.1 onward.  I would suggest sending out a message to the GPL list-serve (gpl_list at listsmart.osl.state.or.us<mailto:gpl_list at listsmart.osl.state.or.us> ) first and if you don't hear anything try the GIS list-serve (gis_info at listsmart.osl.state.or.us<mailto:gis_info at listsmart.osl.state.or.us> ), and/or contact Scott Moore (smoore at esri.com<mailto:smoore at esri.com> ), our Esri Solutions Engineer in Olympia.

Hi Bob -

I would like to move our office to ArcGIS 10.5 by the end of the year and was wondering if you know of any issue with the current SDE version that would cause conflict?  I haven't wanted to move data back and forth from the SDE in ArcGIS 10.5 on my laptop until I know there isn't a conflict.
