It's time to begin planning the 2018 Symposium By the Sea!

You are receiving this message because you previously attended the Symposium By the Sea, are a member of ORURISA and/or SCUG, or otherwise use GIS in your work (apologies for cross-postings).

This year the Symposium By the Sea is Friday, September 28, 2018, at the South Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve near Charleston.

As this is your symposium, I invite your help to plan the event. Please join in an initial pre-planning conference call Friday, June 15, from noon to 12:45 pm, to ask and answer questions about the symposium and identify planning team members.

The purpose of Friday's meeting will be to:

  *   Respond to your questions about the symposium in general and this year's symposium in particular.
  *   Brainstorm a short list to select a symposium theme.
  *   Form a planning team.
  *   Consider next steps.
