Greetings,

As a volunteer with the Oregon Environmental Council, I am excited to share
a new GIS application. Through ArcGIS Online, we are showcasing
user-generated responses to the question, “Why are you committed to
Oregon’s water future?” The result will be a picture of just how much
Oregonians value the water that we all depend on.

*March 22 is World Water Day,* and we are launching a *statewide public
outreach campaign* to engage Oregonians in thinking about how we are all
responsible for the health of our water resources and to encourage a shared
commitment to its future. The map also includes a layer of World Water Day
events so we can take action.

*I want to ask for your help in joining and sharing this campaign with the
rest of Oregon. *Let’s get the word out about World Water Day and engage
Oregonians in speaking up about why clean and reliable water is important
to them. Will you add your voice to the map and share the campaign through
your community over the next week leading up to World Water Day?

*Check out the website and map at http://oregonworldwaterday.org

Thank you for helping to make this a success. Let me know if you have any
questions. Have fun with it!

Sincerely,

Eadie Kaltenbacher, GISP

P.S. If you manage a relevant listserv, please share this campaign with
your partners! Thank you!
