The City of Eugene will be hosting a GIS Day event on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm in the Bascom-Tykeson Room of the Eugene Library<https://www.google.com/maps/place/Eugene+Public+Library/@44.0485301,-123.097156,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x54c11e6b0e8fef25:0xa21ff07bace811ae!8m2!3d44.0485301!4d-123.094962>.

Tables will be set-up with mobile applications and printed maps showing how mapping is used in government services and operations.

Participants include City of Eugene, City of Springfield, LTD, and LCOG.  Stop by this drop-in event for live demonstrations, map displays, and some tasty goodies. GIS staff will be available to answer questions.  The demonstration schedule is posted on the webpage www.eugene-or.gov/GISday<http://www.eugene-or.gov/GISday>, be sure to check it the day before for the final program.  Demonstrations featured include mapping with drones, Vision Zero mapping application, and the Transportation Data Portal developed for the MPO.
