What are we looking for?
A skilled professional with exceptional communication abilities with experience coordinating or administrating a program. The ideal candidate will have experience with the facilitation of meetings, stakeholder work groups, or public hearings; online content management; and identification of grant funding sources and completion of grant applications and proposals. A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Environmental Sciences, or another degree related to the work of the Oregon State Marine Board is required, as well as four years' experience coordinating or administering a program. Alternatively, any combination of experience or education equivalent to seven years of experience is acceptable.

The most competitive candidates will also have:

*         Proficiency and experience with geographic information system (GIS) software.

*         Knowledge of boating practices in the Pacific Northwest.

*         Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of a program budget.

*         Background in public policy and the legislative process.

*         Background in natural resource management, especially in aquatic systems.

*         Ability to work with diverse stakeholder groups to solve complex social and environmental challenges.
