Hi All,

I wanted to provide an update on the statewide imagery acquisition in Oregon for 2022.

Thanks to the contributions from multiple state agencies, the BLM, and Metro, the Oregon Statewide Imagery Program (OSIP<https://www.oregon.gov/geo/Pages/imagery.aspx>) has been able to raise nearly $1 million and move forward with a cooperative project with the NRCS/FSA to again acquire 1ft (30cm) statewide imagery for all of Oregon in 2022. The imagery will be 4-band and is intended to meet the same horizontal accuracy specifications as our previous OSIP collection in 2017/2018 which are 4.82ft (95%) in rural areas and 2.41ft (95%) in US Census designated Urbanized Areas and Clusters. The Oregon Geospatial Enterprise Office (GEO<https://www.oregon.gov/GEO/Pages/index.aspx>) will host the resulting 1ft orthophotography as public streaming Web services in both Web Mercator (tiled) and Oregon Lambert (dynamic 4-band) coordinate systems as well as provide source imagery downloads. We anticipate that raw data delivery to the State of Oregon will occur late this fall.

The vendor for our project is Hexagon and they have announced that they will leverage our effort in order to sell a 15cm version of the statewide data through their content program. One of their sales partners has sent out an email which some of you may have seen. OSIP efforts are focused on the current 1ft acquisition and subsequently making the data publicly available and has no current plans to purchase any 15cm data.

We're excited to once again be able to provide high resolution statewide imagery to everyone and will continue to share updates to the community.

Best,

Brady
