Attention conservation-minded geospatial community members!

Join our *free* virtual Conservation GIS Meetup, hosted by the Society for
Conservation GIS <https://www.scgis.org/> and the Conservation Biology
Institute <https://consbio.org/>, on *Thursday May 8th @ 10am PT/1pm ET/6pm
GMT. *
*Register for the meetup here*:

In light of ongoing challenges our community is facing, this meetup is an
opportunity to connect with like-minded colleagues around the world, expand
your professional network, and learn about the upcoming SCGIS conference.
There will be breakout rooms to give everyone an opportunity to interact
with a supportive community and meet others passionate about using
geospatial technology to facilitate conservation.

Note, early-bird registration
<https://www.scgis.org/conference-registration> for the SCGIS Conference
held June 30, 2025 - July 2, 2025 in West Virginia, USA, is open through
April 30th. We're also working on some virtual events and/or workshops
associated with the conference, so stay tuned for more info!

All are welcome to join this meetup so please share widely, and special
thanks to those who support our SCGIS community as active members. If you
aren't one yet, consider signing up <https://www.scgis.org/membership>
today!

We hope to see you there,
