*Descriptions*

Descriptions for all of the workshops can also be found at
gispd.com/training <https://www.gispd.com/training>.

*New Workshops*

*Introduction to JavaScript for ArcGIS Application Development* and
*Introduction
to JavaScript for ArcGIS Application Development* are both new workshops.

*Prerequisite Requirements*

   - Please note that, as explained in the descriptions, the *Introduction
to Python Programming* workshop is a prerequisite requirement for
the *Introduction
to ArcGIS Pro Python Tools and Processes Development* and *Introduction
to ArcGIS Data Management Using Python* workshops.
   - If you are interested in attending the *Introduction to ArcGIS Data
Management Using Python* workshop on May 8th-9th, but are unable to
attend the *Introduction to Python Programming* workshop before then,
please let me know at info at gispd.com. If there is demand, I can offer it
online during the week of April 28th.
   - There are no prerequisite requirements for the *Introduction to
JavaScript for ArcGIS Application Development* workshop.

*Approach*

The nature of these workshops is as much coaching as it is teaching, in
that, rather than working through fixed exercises, attendees seem to prefer
to follow along as I give explanations and demos and then spend time
practicing what they've learned. This allows for an engaging and flexible
approach, with discussion and experimentation greatly enhancing the
collective experience.

*Acknowledgements*

I'm most grateful to the Northwest GIS User Group
<https://nwgis.org/>, the Montana
Association of Geographic Information Professionals (MAGIP)
<https://www.magip.org/>, and Oregon URISA (ORURISA) <https://orurisa.org/>,
for supporting the provision of these workshops and I highly encourage you
to support these organizations by becoming a member and an active
participant.

Please let me know if you have any questions. You can reach me by phone at
the number below or by email at info at gispd.com.

Thanks.

David
