[Health_Education_Promotion] Position Posting: WIC RD in Clark County

Nutritionist-RD (Registered Dietitian): Full-time position available
with the Clark County WIC Nutrition Program. The Nutritionist-RD is
responsible for nutrition high-risk counseling, completing certification
appointments, and providing nutrition education in individual and group
settings. The RD will work closely with Nutrition Assistant Certifiers,
the WIC Coordinator, the Lactation Promotion Supervisor, the Maternity
Support Services program, and other health-related programs within the
organization. Interest in community nutrition, public health nutrition
and maternal-child health nutrition is highly desirable. Excellent
customer service skills and excellent verbal and written communication
skills are required for this position. Bilingual verbal and written in
English/Spanish or English/Russian is highly desirable. Applicant must
possess a Bachelors or Masters degree in Nutrition from an accredited
university, and completed an accredited dietetic internship program or
coordinated undergraduate program in dietetics. Applicant must also
possess Washington State registration and certification for dietitian or
obtain these credentials within six months of the hire date. Applicant
must be able to work a 10am-7pm shift one day per week; shift will be
8am-5pm other days of the week. Applicant must be able to travel to
other locations in Clark County. Valid state Drivers License is
required, and applicant must have access to an insured vehicle. Please
