Participants in this symposium will learn the basics of Alzheimer’s
disease, why it should be addressed from a public health approach, and how
the State Plan for Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias in Oregon
deals with it.****

Participants will also provide advice and recommendations for prioritizing
actions in the State Plan using the Essential Services of Public Health.****

National and state experts in public health and Alzheimer's will be
presenting at the symposium. ****
