Hello!

For those of you who had your calendar marked for a brown bag scheduled for Wednesday November 10th at Metro, it is being rescheduled for Wednesday December 8th. It will take place in room 270.

To recap, Oregon Public Health Institute is working with Metro to conduct a Health Impact Assessment on the Lake Oswego to Portland Transit Project. This is a first for Metro and we are excited to be going through this process with one of our health partners.

At this brown bag, Steve White will present the draft results of the HIA in preparation for the public comment period. Come hear these draft findings and discuss the results.

I'll send announcements about future brown bags, likely taking place in the new year, where we will discuss how we can integrate HIAs and other health measurement tools into our work here at Metro and a review how the results were used in the decisions around this project.

Feel free to forward this on to other interested people.

Additionally, if you were kind enough to post this on a listserv could you send an update to the listserv announcing this change?

Thanks!

Kathryn Sofich
