 Please join us on Wednesday, June 29th at 10:00 a.m. for a special Smokefree Housing webinar to unveil new creative means and materials to reach multi-unit property managers. 
 
Jo Becker from the Fair Housing Council of Oregon will share materials she has been developing for realtors to help with outreach. Realtors are often landlords themselves, they have clients who are landlords and they, especially in smaller communities, know everyone.
 
Diane Laughter, TPEP contractor for Smokefree Housing, has been working with the Community Associations Institute (CAI), the trade association that serves property managers, board members, and attorneys working with or for condo associations to develop tools recently shared with CAI.  Condos will be the next frontier in multi-unit properties. A fall survey of CAI members found that 74% thought no-smoking rules are "desirable for community associations" and they need tools, steps and legal language to move forward.
