Good afternoon,

We are half-way to the registration goal of 500 participants for Place Matters!  You can help by:

*         Being sure that you are registered; and

*         Spreading the word (see attached flyer with website link) and invitation text below which can be tailored.

We are pleased to invite you to the 3rd Place Matters conference in Portland, November 19-21, 2014. It's Oregon's health promotion and chronic disease prevention conference sponsored by the Oregon Health Authority, Center for Prevention and Health Promotion. Go to www.healthoregon.org/hcc<http://www.healthoregon.org/hcc> to link to the registration site.  The registration fee is expected to be $50, and $25 for students and seniors.

Please share this flyer widely with colleagues and community partners who may be interested in the conference. This is a perfect opportunity to connect with partners on inspiring and exciting information about making a difference in health promotion and chronic diseases in Oregon communities.
