As a follow-up to yesterday's email asking you to mark your calendars for the forthcoming U.S. Surgeon General's A Call to Action to Promote Walking and Walkable Communities, the USSG's office has now provided a web address for tuning in. The webcast hyperlink below will take you the site.

September 9, 7:00 a.m. PST live webcast<http://www.surgeongeneral.gov/library/calls/walking-and-walkable-communities/event-webcast.html>: U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy will announce A Call to Action to Promote Walking and Walkable Communities. The Call to Action will outline "how city planners, employers, and community leaders can ensure that the place where we live and work promote walking and physical activity while also leveling the playing field so that no one is left behind."
