Hello,

You recently received save the date information for the 2016 Place Matters Conference. A flyer is attached here again. Please distribute it widely and encourage your partners to attend.

Grantees and Contractors, our annual meeting, will be held in conjunction with the Place Matters Conference. It will bookend Place Matters: we will meet from 9:00 AM to noon on Tuesday, October 4 and from noon to 3:00 PM on Thursday, October 6. Grantees are required to attend both the full Grantees and Contractors and Place Matters Conference. The RFP/RFGP for each grant provides more detail about this requirement.

You are encouraged to bring partners and coalition members. HPCDP will be covering the expenses listed below for only the following people:

* SRCH: one person from each coalition

* Regional Health Equity Coalitions: one person from each coalition

* Tribal TPEP and County TPEP: the program coordinator AND, if applicable, any additional staff person with 0.5 FTE or more through this grant

*         SPArC: one staff person

* 2016-2017 Healthy Communities Recipients: the program coordinator AND, if applicable, any additional staff person with 0.5 FTE or more through this grant

HPCDP will provide the following for those in the above list:

* Waived registration fee for Place Matters

* Lunch on all three days: October 4, 5, and 6

* Hotel for up to three nights (arriving Monday, October 3; departing Thursday, October 6) for those traveling further than 70 miles

You will need to cover:

*         Transportation and parking

* Meals not provided at the conference. Breakfast and dinner will not be provided

* All expenses for any additional staff people beyond those noted above

Watch for registration information coming in June. Please contact your liaison with any questions.

Thanks,
Sabrina
