This grant opportunity is intended to allow for thoughtful planning and engagement with strategic approaches to policy change for sustainable community health improvements.

Eligibility:
Funding will be limited to entities that meet the following eligibility requirements.

-       Organization or fiscal sponsor is a U.S. based Tribal nation or a Native American-controlled, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization; AND

-       Applicant has successful examples of current and previous efforts focused on improving nutrition, food access, and the health of Native communities; AND

-       Applicant has a well-articulated plan for thoughtful planning and engagement with strategic approaches to policy change for improved nutrition, food access, and wellness, honoring the wisdom and strength of Indigenous culture and traditions.
