Dear partners and friends,
The Oregon Health Authority Office of Equity and Inclusion (OHA-OEI) is pleased to announce recruitment for our Community Advisory Council (CAC).
The primary goal of the Community Advisory Council is to center Oregon's community voices in OEI's efforts to promote health equity and reduce health disparities. As advocates for vulnerable communities, the CAC helps OEI proactively identify and address emerging and ongoing issues and opportunities.
CAC members can expect to commit to one two-hour meeting every other month, with an additional two hours per month outside of meetings. Please see the attached Purpose Statement for more information and for member responsibilities.
In order to ensure equitable geographic representation, we are seeking the following representation:

  *   One (1) diverse representative from the Oregon Coast
  *   One (1) diverse representative from Central Oregon or the Columbia Gorge
  *   One (1) diverse representative from the Willamette Valley
  *   One (1) member of Oregon's Nine Federally Recognized Tribes or Urban Indian community
If you are not from the above regions or categories, your application will not be considered for this recruitment, but will be held for any future recruitments in your geographic region. Please complete and return the attached application to be considered.
