From HPCDP.Community at odhsoha.oregon.gov Wed Feb 28 15:20:46 2024 From: HPCDP.Community at odhsoha.oregon.gov (HPCDP.Community) Date: Wed, 28 Feb 2024 23:20:46 +0000 Subject: [HealthyTribes] Imagine Campaign In-Reply-To: References: Message-ID: Hello, Partners! We ask for your help to do a final check on some new tobacco prevention ads that will launch in April. This will take less than 10 minutes and hopefully will be inspiring! Please respond by Wednesday, Feb. 28, at 5 pm. Details below. For the past year, we have been sharing progress and updates on the new Smokefree Oregon advertising campaign OHA is developing in partnership with community-based organizations and local public health authorities across Oregon. Together, we have developed the campaign goal, audiences, creative direction, and messaging. In addition to input from the ACT Committee and partners like you, the creative and messaging have been informed by a statewide survey and focus groups. The campaign, Imagine Oregon without Big Tobacco, will launch on April 2, 2024, and run through June 30, 2024. The campaign focuses on community strengths and inspires people to imagine and create a future without Big Tobacco. The committee guided three Oregon artists to create original illustrations of that future. Those three illustrations will be in ads on billboards, radio and television, digital media, murals, and other places across the state. All ads will connect people to a webpage where they can: * Find local organizations working on tobacco prevention. * Learn how to make places they love smoke-free. * Find ways to help someone quit. * Share the campaign with friends. * Take the pledge for an Oregon without Big Tobacco. We are now about ready to go into production and would like to share the three illustrations for any final input and feedback. We invite you to give the illustrations a final review and provide feedback for consideration: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/26RY3LX. Please respond by Wednesday, February 28, 5:00 p.m. We would also like to acknowledge that some of you may be collaborating with us on different aspects of the campaign, for which we're grateful. We know you may be getting multiple requests. If you have any questions or if this is getting at all confusing or over-taxing please contact Kirsten Gunst, kgunst at metgroup.com. Thank you!
